This is not my work. I neither modeled nor rigged either the character or the set. I simply downloaded the "Malcolm" character rig from https://www.animschool.com/ for free and purchased the set from https://www.cgtrader.com/.
My original plan was to start my video with the main character walking up to the store, and that was it -- it was a very basic idea. In trying to make it more exciting, I thought of this particular sequence from Saturday Night Fever. Initially, I was drawn to it because it's iconic, then after watching the clip, I decided that I wanted to model my intro after this one. I was mostly inspired by the dynamic camera angles, music, and the vibrancy of John Travolta's walk.
The Travolta walk would be a good reference to do as well as show your character before he goes it the 7 11. Also for legal purposes, you should change the 7 11 logo, especially with the ending your uhave planned for your film. 7 11 wouldn't want to be associated with that I don't think.
